My, your, his/her, our, ya’lls, their In French, it doesn’t matter the gender of the person who possesses the item …the gender/number of the item being possessed is what is important i.e. His sister It doesn’t matter that he is a guy…what matters is that sister is feminine

NOTES: These forms are the same, whether the object is feminine OR masculine. They only differ in number In all forms, the gender does not matter if the object is plural If the object is singular feminine, but starts with a vowel, you must use mon, ton, or son. This is because the vowels don’t like to be next to each other
