Is the mission statement precise, distinctive, inline with Lebanese HE principles, published? Is the mission respected in the objectives, by the different units, programmes?

- Does the governance work on improving the learning environment in all its aspects while respecting the mission of the institution? Are inputs from all stakeholders integrated in the decision-taking process? Is the quality culture fostered? How branches are managed?

Is the hiring of professors based on criteria that include teaching, research and community service? Are the professors supported to develop their academic experience and research activities? Are the professors encouraged to maintain close relation with local fabric? Are the professors requested to help in tutoring and orientation of the students? - Are the teaching, research and service workloads balanced and coherent?

Are the admission rules appropriate and public? Are the students aware of their rights and responsibilities? Do they participate in the different committees and especially in the internal QA process? Is sufficient tutoring and orientation support provided? Is there a clear public scholarship system? Are the extra curricular activities supported?

Is there enough competent technical and administrative staff to support the different support activities?

Are the learning outcomes defined for the programmes and courses? Is the process for the development, evaluation and update of programmes and courses precisely defined and taking into consideration the local needs? Are the courses and programmes descriptions available to the students? Is there a part dedicated to ethics, democracy, tolerance, respect of diversity, languages, entrepreneurship, culture heritage preservation …? Are learning and assessment methods appropriate?

Is the library well equipped and accessible? Are there enough laboratories? Are the classrooms, exam halls, conference rooms appropriate for an efficient learning process? Are the facilities for extra curricular activities available? Are online facilities available?
