How does the Passive Form work? Le passif n’est pas une simple transformation. Si je dis  « Shakespeare a écrit Hamlet » et si je dis « Hamlet a été écrit par Shakespeare », je me mets à chaque fois d’un point de vue différent. Dans la première phrase, je parle principalement de l’auteur. Dans la deuxième phrase, c’est la pièce de théâtre qui m’intéresse.

La voix passive Tu utilises la voix passive au prétérit pour: Parler d’un événement passé Mettre l’accent sur la personne ou la chose qui a subi l’événement SUJET + was/were + participe passé Barack Obama was elected President of the USA Le complément d’agent du passif est mentionné par « by »
