Il y a six départements en PACA. La capitale de la région est Marseille. Les attractions touristiques sont le French Riviera et les Alpes. Les spécialités de la Provence-Alpes-Côte dAzur sont Ratatouille, des fromage, bouillabaisse, et plus encore. Il y a beaucoup de choses a faire en PACA. Ce sont les plages pour nager ou bronzer, les Alpes pour faire du ski, et les marches locale pour faire les magasins.
Geography: Situated in the south along the Mediterranean Sea. Most popular vacation spot. Pebbly beaches, and very sunny skies. Extreme diversity between sea and mountain peaks.
History: Several million years B.C., PACA was home to its first people. 400,000 B.C.- the first homes were built in Nice. Celts were the first inhabitants. Coat of arms (Cote dAzur) was created in Marseilles is the oldest city, with about 2,600 years of history. Van Gogh once lived, and painted, in the region.
Industry: Substantial perfume industry. Home to several hundred companies devoted to computing, business services, logistics, and industry. Tourism is also a huge part of the industry of Provence-Alpes-Côte dAzur.
Tourism: Alpe peaks are popular for winter sports. The French Riviera is a very popular attraction. The temperate climate attracts many tourists. Around 2.5 million visitors in the region, on the peak of around August 11 th.
Cuisine: It is believed that the Provence-Alpes-Côte dAzur regions cuisine is the perfect blend of Italian, Spanish, and French gastronomies. Some examples of dishes from this area are ratatouille, niçoise salad, and bouillabaisse.
