Un tiers des personnes de 12 à 75 ans (33 %) fume. Entre 18 et 34 ans, près d’une personne sur deux fume. La prévalence tabagique passe de 9 % pour les ans à 41 % pour les ans et atteint un maximum de 48 % chez les ans. A quel âge commence-t-on à fumer ? En moyenne, les jeunes fument leur première cigarette vers 14 ans et demi et commencent à fumer régulièrement vers 16 ans.
